    Mom called me an hour ago to let me know that my grand uncle Raymond Judas passed away suddenly early this morning at his home in Courtright, Ontario. He would have been 89 in September. The funeral is tentatively set for this coming Friday.

    For the past few weeks I’ve been playing phone tag with his daughter-in-law Janet as I believe she still has all the Judas genealogy that her late husband Stanley worked on. Somewhere in his work may be the clue I need to break through the Oborniki brick wall.

    A copy of uncle Raymond’s funeral program & obituary arrived here in Terrace earlier this week. I’ll be uploading them in the near future.

    I also finally talked to cousin Janet. She has agreed to give me a copy of the genealogy research her late husband Stanley did years ago. I don’t expect to get the info for another couple of weeks as Janet is leaving for a week, and mail takes a good week to get here from Ontario.
